Fall's approaching with a lot of anticipation for artist comebacks and drama premieres but summer's not quite over yet. Mnet's third annual 20's Choice Awards (think Teen Choice Awards) is coming August 28th! Don't ask me why Mnet clearly states it as a "summer break" but airs it in August (some have mentioned October but I don't think that's correct)...

So for those of you who are clueless about this event, the awards are broken up into 20 different categories (hence the 20's in the event name), fans vote, and on the actual awards show there is a blue carpet for arrivals, performances, and of course the revealing of whose hot in Korea! Fans are allowed to vote, so it's a matter of who has the most fans...but doesn't that just mean the winner is hot hot hot?

Stay tuned to allkpop for updates on performance schedule and coverage of this event!

Below is a list of nominees. If you think your favorite star is hot, get cracking and vote for them! You can vote here starting today. Last year's Results.

Apparently, this is not open to overseas fans :(

Hopefully, Korean BOF fans will not be complacent and will support them all the way.

2PM not coming to Malaysia, 2AM to perform at after party

According to a reliable source, who works at a local recording company, Korean boyband 2PM will not be coming to Malaysia in August...but 2AM will.

Not coming: After getting the devastating news that they aren't
coming to Malaysia, the 2PM boys experience a brief break down
where they get in touch with their...er, feminine side.

The boy’s boss JYP tweet-ted that he will be sending 2PM to the 2009 MTV Asia Awards in Malaysia this August.

That was before we discovered that the MTV Asia Awards has been scrapped and is being replaced by the MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia.

JYP a.k.a The Asian Soul has since removed his tweet announcing the matter.

After party entertainers: 2AM mourns the love of their
beloved fans as they are only scheduled to perform at
the post-party

However, our source tells us that 2AM will instead be coming to Malaysia. The Confession of a Friend singers will not perform at the show but will be taking the stage at the by-invitation-only after party.

Boo!

Down with MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia. Bring back the MTV Asia Awards! :-P

2PM Wild Bunny - Episode 1

Yes it's out and it's subbed!!! Thanks so much to the time2sub team for subbing this so quickly! My heartfelt thanks to all your hard work guys! ^^

With the exit of the 2PM boys from promoting their songs, they have more time for variety and here they are having their own show. Mnet Wild Bunny was supposed to be an scripted show but due to the acting (or lack there of, lol XD) of the members, the PD's chose to let them do what they want, which for me is more fun actually. ^^

Calling the show "wild" sure hits the mark because the boys just went all out doing whatever in this show, lol! XD They shed the idol stereotype and just became hot boys ready to party! ^^ They stole their manager's wallet and car keys, went to eat street foods, drink some alcohol, sing in noraebang and went clubbing. Now that's being free!

The 2PM Craze!!!

Yes, it's the 2PM craze even in the celebrity world. Now I know I'm not crazy when I started liking 2PM because even Lee Hyori admitted that she liked them! ^^

The popularity of idol group 2PM has skyrocketed since their debut on September 2008, thanks to hit songs like "10 Out of 10" and "Again & Again", as well as appearances on variety shows, where they openly displayed their dorky yet lovable personalities. Mnet's first episode of Wild Bunny led to an overwhelming response from viewers and off the chart ratings.

People just can't seem to get enough of these seven cuties, and that includes even celebrities. See what stars like Lee Hyori, Solbi, and Chaeyeon have been saying about the current darlings of k-pop:

“2PM is the general trend now. I am obsessed with them these days.”
-Singer Lee Hyori on MBC Come to Play

“Before HaHa, who’s in the army right now, comes back, I want to go on a secret date with 2PM’s Jaebeom.”
-Broadcaster Ahn Hye Kyung on MBC Come to Play

“Singer Lee Soo Young is currently obsessed with 2PM, so whenever they come on TV, she goes up and touches the screen.”
-Comedian Park Kyung Lim on KBS Happy Together

“Whenever I see 2PM these days, my heart momentarily shakes.”
-Singer Chaeyeon on KBS Star Golden Bell

“When I think about their looks, I like 2PM’s Nichkhun.”
-Singer Yoona of Girls' Generation/SNSD on KBS Champagne

“2PM’s Nichkhun is the first celebrity I went up to first and begged to take a picture together.”
-Singer Solbi on Mnet Ice Princess

“If 2PM’s Nichkhun asks me to marry him, I would say yes right away.”
-Announcer Park Eun Young on KBS Yuhyoomanman

When asked what they attribute their popularity to, leader Jaebeom answered, "We have no typical style like other idol groups, and I think we appeal to fans by not worrying about our individual images and just playing, talking, and dancing as we feel like it on stage. It seems like our fans call us ‘animal idols’ because of our barbaric personalities."

Fellow member Junsu replied, "I think there are a lot of fans who like us for directly saying things and just saying everything we want to say on shows." Thailand-American member Nichkhun added, "I feel like that’s why the fans think we're sexier."

And sexy they most certainly are. Out of the celebrity comments, I definitely relate to Chaeyeon's comment the most. Oh, 2PM...you make our hearts sh-sh-shake.

2PM Wild Bunny - Episode 2

The 2nd episode with English subs are out! time2sub team is so fast! Kamsahamnida!!! =)

After their night out singing in noraebang and dancing in the club, the boys were caught one by one by their manager. Their manager is pretty athletic to be able to run and catch Khun, Taec and Sungie.

Next mission, "To pose like no other idol had ever posed". Idols take lots of pictures with either cute or full of charisma poses. This time, they will challenge the un-thinkable, to be not idol-like in their photoshoot. ^^
